The Prem's poetry comp has kicked off!

Last time it was Olly Murs, this time it’s Rio Ferdinand who surprised the students of his old school, Camelot Primary in Peckham!

Rio paid a visit to see how the students were getting on with their poems about diversity for the Premier League Writing Stars competition!

Rio said: “It was great to be back at my old primary school for Premier League Writing Stars! I've been lucky enough to travel the world, I hope that by sharing my experiences with children today it can have a positive impact on helping them understand the importance of diversity!”

The Premier League poem competition is open to kids at any primary school in England and Wales, so your poem could be judged by Olly Murs, and even Rio Ferdinand himself!

The winners of the Premier League Writing Stars poetry competition will be rewarded with their poem being published in a limited-edition book!
