Andre Villas-Boas has been named as the new Tottenham manager!
The 34 year-old Portuguese gaffer had a rubbish time at Chelsea last season, but was amazing for Porto the year before – where he was referred to as the ‘New Jose Mourinho’.
Rumours are doing the rounds that he’ll be handed £50 million to splash out on new players. Here’s how that cash could be spent to totally revamp Tottenham’s team…
£9m: Ajax centre-back Jan Vertonghen
£16m: Marseille striker Loic Remy
£8m: Hoffenheim midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who impressed while on loan at Swansea
£6.5m: Young Birmingham keeper Jack Butland
£10.5m: Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge
Tottenham could also be forced to sell Luka Modric, and the money from that deal could be used to bring Porto’s ace Portuguese playmaker Joao Moutinho to the club!
