Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was at White Hart Lane last night to watch his Under-19 team squeak past Liverpool into the NextGen semi-finals!

Harry would have been impressed by the fighting spirit of his academy boys as they overcame wave after wave of Liverpool attack to escape with a 1-0 victory!

Raheem Sterling and Tony Silva were a constant threat for the Reds down both flanks, with Susso running the show in midfield!

But after missing a host of great chances, Liverpool switched off at the back to allow Nabil Bentaleb a shot on goal from 20 yards.

His effort was parried by keeper Tyrell Belford and Spurs winger Shaquille Coulthirst reacted first to tuck away the rebound.

Spurs will face the winner of the one remaining quarter-final between Barcelona and Ajax, to be played on Wednesday 8 February.
